Scapular Training

Scapular training is essential to any overhead athlete.  These four simple exercises with help you achieve solid scapular strength in a short workout.

Proper strengthening of these muscles increases shoulder stabilty, proper posture, and decreases your chances of injury.  The exercises shown below should all be done in 4 sets of 20 reps.

Exercise #1 - Pivot Prone

Exercise #2 - Scap Squeezes

Exercise #3 - Bilateral Pull Downs

Exercise #4 - Shoulder Abduction
