Scapular Isometrics

These four Scapular Isometric Exercises are essential for all athletes in conjunction with the Phase I Isometrics presented last month. The same rules apply as last month's isometrics. Scap pinching is absolutely necessary for success with this exercise. Pinch shoulder blades hard the ENTIRE exercise. No rest in between units. Form and Intensity are critical for maximum scap strengthening.
All Isometrics - Hold 15sec each, 5 times each.
Exercise #1 - Scapular Isometrics

Fingertips press into wall with forward Thumb up/down
Fingertips press into wall for reverse

Palm down/up

Pinch Shoulder Blades ENTIRE exercise!
